A two-part workshop on Seed Farming WorkshopsWednesdays September 20 and October 18 from 3-5 PM at The Berea College Horticulture Farm. The workshops will combine education, hands-on work harvesting, processing and cleaning seed.
Soil Health Workshop: Termination and Incorporation Of Cover Crops
Join us at Southall Farms from 1-4pm on Monday, September 18 where we’ll be talking all about terminating cover crops. We’ll demo roller crimping methods as well as a DIY crimper for small-scale use. We’ll be debating the merits of tilling in a cover crop versus spading, discing, or chisel plowing it in.
