HIRING: Project Coordinator at TSU Department of Agricultural Science and Engineering

Tennessee State University Department of Agricultural Science and Engineering invites applications for the position of Project Coordinator.

This position plans, implements, and reports Extension educational programs for transitional, organic crop growers. Other responsibilities include:
-Develops and implements innovative educational programs
-Assesses regional needs, issues, and trends in the horticulture area and prepares situational data as a basis for program development.
-Researches and disseminates information to keep crop producers abreast of the transitional to organic agriculture program (TOPP), CSAF and other latest research information through various forms of communication.
-Plans, implements, evaluates, and reports all phases of the organic production educational programs.
-Works with extension agents and program leaders on outreach and training workshops in the industry.
-Develops annual reports for the program director, field staff, specialists, advisory councils, clientele groups, and others. Performs other related duties as assigned.
