Rachel is a Value-Added Agriculture Marketing Specialist with UT Extension, Center for Profitable Agriculture. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Before joining the Center, she served for five years as an Extension Agent in Rutherford County, specializing in residential and consumer horticulture. She provides leadership to the Center’s programs pertaining to farmers markets, specialty crops including cut flowers and fruits, craft beverages, social media, and direct marketing. She helps farmers analyze and develop marketing strategies to improve farm income.
