Accept and Double SNAP at Farmers Markets

Nikkole Elizabeth Turner is the Program Field Manager of the Community Nutrition Education Program at Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN. The Community Nutrition Education Program consists of two federal nutrition education programs- the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program-Education

(SNAP-Ed) and the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP). Ms. Turner has been the program field manager since September of 2021. As the program field manager, Ms. Turner assists the Director in promoting the program to the state and stakeholders as well as supports the assessment,

evaluation, and policy, system, and environmental changes occurring in the state due to the impact of the program’s efforts. Ms. Turner assists in building community partners and provides direct support to state, regional, and county staff.
