Loraine Lippolis
After a career in healthcare as a surgical Physician Assistant, Loraine has
spent years developing her culinary skills through the lens of health and
sensibility. In 2022, after completing her Capstone on “Wellness” she
graduated with her masters from Vanderbilt University. Loraine has since
completed the Chef coaching program at Harvard University, and has
begun her specialty training in Culinary Medicine. In the Spring of 2024,
she plans to begin the Health and Wellness coaching program at
Vanderbilt.
Her research, combined with motherhood has made her acutely aware of
the tremendous role our dietary habits have on our health or the lack
thereof. As fewer people have the skills and knowledge to prepare healthy
meals at home, their dependence on processed food and prepared meals
rises. The result being a sicker population with diminishing life and health
spans.
To address this, Allora home cooking launched this Fall with an
educational and skill building website and, in person instruction offered in
the format of community outreach. Online culinary coaching will begin in
2024.
