Building Community Engagement for Farm-to-School

Cari Chestnut has been working with Murfreesboro City Schools Farm2School program since 2019. She came to this work after more than 20 years of practice and study in the areas of horticulture, organic and regenerative agricultural practices, biodynamic agriculture, and of course, a lot of honest trial and error. It is a privilege to be able to teach students to develop a reverence and understanding for the natural world while acknowledging there’s always more to learn.
